Russia is the biggest rival of Norway on the gas market of the European Union. The share of Russia in the European market is 25 percent, and Norway covers 20 percent of European demand for gas. If Russia reduce supply by 20 percent in the next six months, Norway may increase by the same percentage .

" That's great . Sounds cynical , but it is so. That is just great," says Norwegian analyst.
